Candidate is responsible for all phases of the design/build process.
Must be versed in site analysis; sales; client and crew management; project flow and management; coordinating with subcontractors. Must be able to handle multiple projects.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Organizational Objective: To promote the economic growth and development of Virginia agriculture.
Purpose of Position: To assist in the development and implementation of the establishment of a statewide Farmers Market Managers association. Areas of focus will be in assisting with organizational structure, facilitating meetings, professional development trainings, mentoring program development resource management, website content development, assisting in writing and publishing a guidebook, and expanding EBT/SNAP program opportunities.
Job Qualifications:
· Self motivated, responsible, able to resolve and or interpret complex issues or policies
· Prioritize and work independently while performing multiple tasks.
· Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.
· Friendly, courteous, service oriented approach to work
· Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and database management. Web and webinar design experience desirable
· Farmers Market Management experience and/or knowledge of Virginia agriculture and food safety regulations preferred
· Volunteer recruitment and management experience a plus
· Experience with social media and marketing, newsletters, blogs
Education, Experience required for entry into position: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Agriculture or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Experience in the management of Farmers Markets a plus. Valid Driver’s License.

Milmont Greenhouses Seeking Head Grower
Milmont Greenhouses in Waynesboro, VA, is a family based Mennonite business in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley with about one acre growing area under cover with an outdoor growing area as well. Our business is around 85-90% retail and 10-15% wholesale.
We are looking for an experienced grower, about 5 years or more. However, we would consider someone with less experience provided they have a sufficient level of training in growing and are self motivated to learn and are able to work with the options we can give them. Although negotiable, in the past, our grower has been responsible for both growing and ordering. We currently have two grower's helpers/waterers with experience plus people who are experienced in the planting department.
